Special words from our Sponsors and Volunteers

Our company has been a sponsor of the Pinson Foundation since 2006 and we have attended their charity events hosted in Mr. Pinson’s home. We continue to support the Pinson Foundation and their efforts to help those in need,”stated Bryan Yoho, Vice President of Insurance Office of America, a Tampa based insurance firm.

"Michael Pinson came to me to help put together an emergency medical team for Haiti just after the Earthquake for the Pinson Foundation. Michael personally donated the first $5,000 towards the Foundations's mission and four days later we were in Haiti with an eleven member team. The team worked 12 hour days for a week. I am honored to have worked with Michael and the Pinson Foundation", said Dr. Frederick Guerrier.

Dr. Frederick Guerrier, a Haitian American with a medical practice in St. Petersburg, Fla. was the Medical Team Leader for the Pinson Foundation’s relief efforts in Haiti. He was also recognized and awared as the Pinellas County Medical Associations Physician of the Year in 2010.

Since our foundation is managed by all volunteers, we have been a little sidtracked with the weaker economy. However, we are currently reviwing making several grants to local projects to include a homeless shelter in Tampa  Bay.

Pinson Foundation Supports AIDS Walk / Suncoast Hospice in Tampa Bay.

We were very proud to help support this annual event in St. Petersburg, Fla. When we heard that the AIDS Walk had such a high event cost to rent professional sound equipment for two days of their event, the Pinson Foundation made a "Like in Kind" donation by loaning them our Foundation's event sound equipment and the delivery truck owned by Pinson Communication. This saved them $3,700 in actual cash expenses. The Foundation also made a $1,000 cash donation to help fund the medical needs of AIDS patients. Florida also is the #1 State for pediatric aids patients.
